As a district's Open Job Postings grow, it's important to Close Job Postings when they are no longer needed, as this helps keep the Job Postings list within a district relevant and up to date.

How to Close a Job Posting
- Navigate to Recruiting / Job Postings / My Open Job Postings or Open Job Postings

Locate the Job (or Jobs) you wish to close, check the box for the job(s) and click "Close Job(s)":

In the Close Job(s) window that opens, click "Update" to close the job:

OPTIONAL: If you would also like to close the corresponding Tracker for the Job Posting, change the Tracker Status to "Filled - Closed" or "Filled" from the Tracker Status dropdown menu and click update:
Note: Changing the Tracker Status will also close the Tracker for the Job Posting
Notifications
It's recommended to communicate the closing of the Job Posting to Tracker Candidates directly through the Tracker throughout the hiring process. See Trackers: Sending Candidate Notifications for these instructions.
However, if you wish to communicate to ALL of the Applicants of the Job Posting that it is now closed:
- Refer to Step 3 above, check the box for "Notify Applicants" and click "Update":
- When the Send Notifications window opens, select the "Job Posting Closed" Notification Category and Template, and select "Job Applicant" under "Recipients":
- Enter the Email Subject
