The following items are some of the most frequently asked questions when troubleshooting with RecruitFront applicants and their application process.

Submitting Application to RecruitFront vs. Submitting Application to a Job Posting

Applicant has confusion over completing their application/submitting to their application to RecruitFront and submitting their application for a Job Posting. Clicking the "Submit" button in the Final Application Validation section, submits the application to RecruitFront, and also makes it viewable to whichever district(s) the applicant has chosen. It does NOT submit their application to a job posting.  

Resolution(s)

Direct applicant to "How to Apply to Job Postings" in our RecruitFront Knowledge Base library, and that they will need to navigate to their "Applicant Dashboard" / Job Boards - OR - Job Opportunities to see, view and apply to Job Postings. 

  • Applicants will receive a system generated email upon a successful submission to job postings
  • Applicants will also see the job posting listed in their "Jobs Applied For" section on their Applicant Dashboard

Incomplete Application / Unable to Apply to Job Posting

Applicant has not validated a section(s) of their application, and therefore the application is incomplete, and they are unable to apply to a job posting. 

Resolution(s)

  • Direct applicant to the "Final Application Validation" section of their application to determine which sections are incomplete. Orange Warning icons indicate that there is missing information that is required to complete the section. 
  • Applicants must click "Validate, Save and Continue" when they are certain that their information is entered correctly in order to validate the entries and save the application section. 
  • Clicking "Save Draft and Continue" will save the information entered but will not validate it towards final application completion. 

Correct Application Type for Job Posting

Applicant has not completed the correct application type for the job posting and therefore can't apply to the job posting. 

For example:

An applicant clicked on a Job Posting that requires an application type they have not yet completed, and when they click "Apply Now":

The page will refresh and they will receive a message that the application type is not yet completed, prompting them to complete it:

Resolution(s)

Direct the applicant to click the link (above). This will then re-direct them into the application that needs to be completed in the "My Application" section. 

  1. Direct applicant to ensure that the green box/check next to the correct application type is displayed and click "Save and Continue":

  1. Once the applicant has completed the application, in Final Application Validation section, they will click the "Submit" button for the application type they are completing for the Job Posting:

  2. The following pop-up will display, and they will click "Apply":

Confirming Job Posting Application Submissions

Applicant is unsure if they have successfully submitted their application to the job posting.
