The File Repository is a place where documents are stored in SchoolFront, so they can be linked on Forms, found on the Available Forms page, or accessed by employees for training and other needs. Access to these folders and files is controlled based on assigned SchoolFront roles, Employee Groups, Bargaining Units, Job Titles, and similar criteria.
Applicable Roles
All SchoolFront Roles can be provided access to the File Repository, provided they have been granted access by Human Resources.

Prerequisites
File Repository: Setup Folders & Assign Role Access
Upload Files
- Save the file you would like to add to the File Repository to your computer
- Navigate to File Repository / Files

Click "New File"
- In the lower half of your screen, select the folder where you'd like the file to be saved from the drop-down menu
- Drag and drop the file you saved in step 1 into the "Associated Files" box (or click inside the box, below the text, to bring up your computer's directory to select it)

When you see the name of your file appear in the box, click "Insert"
- Select the URL address from either Secured Public URL or Unsecured Public URL to copy the link:
- Note: The Secured Public URL is only to be used the file has sensitive or private information, as the person viewing the File MUST be logged into SchoolFront to view the information. Unsecured Public URL's can be accessed and viewed without being logged in
