The File Repository provides offers the functionality to store commonly used files within folders in SchoolFront. The following will address the configuration of setting up the folders in the File Repository and assigning access to them.

Setup a Folder in the File Repository
How to Setup a Folder
- Navigate to File Repository / File Folders
- Select New File Folder
- Enter the name of the new Folder
- Enter the Folder Description

Click "Insert"
How To Setup Role Access (Folder)
- Navigate to File Repository / File Folder
- Select a folder by clicking the magnifying glass
- Select the "Group Access" Tab

Click "New File Folder Group Permission"

In the pop-up window, select which role/group/department will be granted permission by choosing from the corresponding drop-down menu
- Select from "Read, Write, Delete" permissions to the folder by checking the appropriate boxes
- Click "Save"
Please Note: If multiple roles or groups are to have access and the permissions are the same, you may add them at the same time here. If multiple roles are groups are to have different access, please repeat the instructions above per role and/or group

View Audit Trail (File):
- Navigate to File Repository / Files
- Select a file by clicking the magnifying glass
- Click "Audit" tab to view the file log of who has accessed, viewed, or modified the file
