The following user roles are the ones that interact most with Attendance functions in SchoolFront.

Personal Profile Only
Attendance Administrator
- Access to all Staff Attendance menu options. All other access to SchoolFront EMS is limited to Personal Profile setting.
Attendance Coordinator
- In SchoolFront EMS, the Attendance Coordinator users are able to access Daily Attendance, Attendance and Employee Balances. Additional setup has to be done to grant these users access to staff members that they will be taking attendance for. See our section on: Employee Data Grids – SchoolFront for further information. All other access to SchoolFront EMS is limited to Personal Profile setting.
Human Resources Administrator
- Access to add, edit and view all folders and information of all employees within the district. Includes: Recruiting, Hiring, Employee Information, Personnel Files, Salary Notices, Evaluations, Professional Development, Benefits Enrollment and Attendance. Responsible for generating mass accruals for events like snow days or delayed openings.
Human Resources Team
- Same access as a Human Resources Administrator, except limited folder access. This role cannot share Custom Layouts and cannot publish Saved Searches.
Business Office
- Employees with the Business Office role in SchoolFront are able to view Daily Attendance and Timecards. They are able to access and view Employee Calendars and Accruals. This role is also able to pull reports and access / edit Attendance setup options in SchoolFront.
Personal Profile Only

Employees with this role can access and view their own Attendance transactions, Employee Balances, Employee Calendar, and can view, edit, and approver their own Time Card. If listed as an approver on someone else's Time Card and / or Absence Requests, and granted access to view that person's Attendance, they will be able to view and approve their Attendance and / or Time Card as well.
