An Input Mask is a string expression used to control user input in a specific format. The purpose of Input Masks is to help users enter data correctly and consistently by providing a visual guide that enforces that specific format.

Adding an Input Mask Expression to a Custom Field
Navigate to: Process Forms / Form Management
- Select the form you wish to add the mask to by clicking the magnifying glass
- Click the Custom Fields tab

Click New Field

In the Mail Merge Custom Field Management pop-up, enter the following fields (required fields are marked with an *)
- Enter the Field Name
- In the Custom Field Type drop-down, select "Text - Short (max 100 characters)"
- Update the Display Order of the field if necessary
- Enter the Custom Field Display Name
- Add the Input Expression to the Mask Option
- Click Save
