Import Data into Forms
Allows you to import data into a read-only form by uploading an excel spreadsheet. The Import Tool allows the district to choose the column data to match against. Your data is then associated with the form and employees attached to it, and the data imported would then be visible and exportable through the SchoolFront grid. It is suggested that the district use the Staff ID or Last Name and First Name as the Identifier.

Initiate Forms via an Excel File
Allows a district to use Excel to populate and generate a form when your district has data that needs to be entered into SchoolFront from another source. This is especially useful when you want to send the information/data from excel into a form and then send the form to the employees to take action. Districts may use this process for uploading emergency contact information to all employees to verify and make changes. This process would also be useful to upload vacation or sick day information to send to employees to complete vacation or sick day buy back forms.

Import Data into Custom Tabs
*Custom Tabs are created by your Solution Architect, as they are permanent, and added to your district employee file tabs*
Allows you to import data into permanent custom employee tabs through an excel spreadsheet. The Import Tool allows the district to choose the column data to match against and it is suggested that the district use the Staff ID or Last Name and First Name as the Identifier. The excel sheet column headings must match the exact heading fields that are going into custom tab. There is no limitation on the amount of data that can be imported into a custom tab. Once the need for the custom tab is identified, the district may choose the name of the tab.
