The Manual Step Task is a reminder to complete a Task outside of SchoolFront. These steps will send notifications to employees within the school district to complete actions in order to complete the process. An example of this would be to add additional employee information into SchoolFront, print fingerprint information from NYSED site, confirm certifications in TEACH, or upload a scanned document to a new hire digital file.
To Create a Manual Step Task:
- Navigate to Task Management/Task Profile/Tasks
- Select New Task
- Select Manual Step from the Task Type
- Enter a Task Name and Task Description
- Select Insert or Insert and Add Another
