Notifications are emails and/or PDF's that can be sent to your SchoolFront staff & district employees, district applicants, candidates and candidate reviewers. Recruiting Administrators and Human Resources roles can create and send unique notifications that can be saved and used as needed.
The ability to send notifications is available on all Staff, Human Resources and Recruiting grids where there are potential recipients.
Glossary of Notification Terms
Notification Template - Defined forms created with a user-friendly editing tool that can mail merge custom and SchoolFront defined fields.
Notification Categories - Categories are created during your district's configuration process with your Solution Architect. Categories are a defined grouping for Notification Types and Templates.
Notification Type - (set up when you create a category) tells you where the notification will live in the system. It defines what mail merge fields you will have available to use in your notification template, as well as the grids in SchoolFront where you are able to send the notification.
Please Note: Some Notification Types will appear but will not function unless that module has been purchased.
Label Preferences - A Predefined list of label formats that can be selected for use in Notifications.
Sent Notifications - A detailed grid (with date filtering available) of all Notifications that have been sent.
