Manually Upload / Add / Import Documents to Employee Personnel Folders
SchoolFront allows you to upload / add / import documents into the electronic employee personnel folders you've created.

Prerequisite Steps
- Setup & Manage Electronic Personnel Record Folder Structure
- File / Document you wish to upload must already be in a digital format (i.e. these steps will not allow you to scan paper documents directly into the system).
Step-by-Step Instructions - Upload/Add/Import Documents in an Employee Personnel Folder: The following steps will highlight how to upload a single file or a zipped file (containing one or more documents) into an employee's electronic personnel folder.
Upload/Add/Import a Single Document in an Employee Personnel Folder
- Go to Active Employees.
- Use grid filters and/or sorting to locate the employee into whose folder you would like to put a digital document.
- Click the employee to open his/her details below the grid.
- In the details area below the grid, click Tabbed Personnel Folders.
- Click the folder into which you wish to upload your file.
- Click the New Personnel File link.
- Select the staff member from the drop down menu (if he/she isn't already selected)
- Select the Personnel folder from the drop down menu (if it isn't already selected)
- Click the Add file button.
- Click the browse button.
- Locate the file on your computer.
- Click the Add file button.
- Click the Save button.
Upload/Add/Import a Zipped File to an Employee Personnel Folder
- Go to Active Employees.
- Use grid filters and/or sorting to locate the employee into whose folder you would like to put a digital document.
- Click the employee to open his/her details below the grid.
- In the details area below the grid, click Tabbed Personnel Folders.
- Click the folder into which you wish to upload your file.
- Click the Upload Zip link.
- Click the Browse button.
- Locate the zip file on your computer.
- Click the Parse Zip button.
Note: Depending on the size of the zip file and the number of files zipped, this may take a while. Do not hit the button again or use the back button.
- Once the files in the zip are parsed, they will be listed in the grid.
- You can rename the files by changing the name in the column called New File Name.
- Select a Destination Folder from the drop-down menu for each of the files.
- Click the Confirm Upload button.
